Thunder, lightning, fireworks, nailing guns and hot air balloons are frightful noises for many dogs.

Many dogs have true panic attacks when confronted by noises and such dogs quiver, shake, tremble and pant. Many will hide under furniture and most are inconsolable.

Dogs that are fearful these noises are a danger to themselves and a headache for their owners.

Escaping behaviour is a common consequence and in their attempts to escape, dogs can do serious damage to themselves.
