While I am a veterinarian, I am firstly a pet owner and, in case you are wondering, - no, my pets are not perfect!!!

My wayward woofer, Widget, is a super-active Devil Dog that's undergoing rehabilitation - but she's so cute! My 10kg huge cat is a hairy dish-mop impersonator with attitude and can be a little aggressive, and my other two cats occasionally brawl with each other. That's life as a pet owner!!

So, solving any behavioural problem with a pet involves three steps:-

Assessing the behaviour to determine what is the true underlying cause of the malady. A formal diagnosis of the cause is then made.
Implementing the therapy that is appropriate for this pet with the malady that has been diagnosed via the assessment.
Following up after the consultation to ensure the problem is being solved.
