Who Should Attend This Seminar?
This is a vet-only seminar. Veterinarians and highly skilled vet nurses who want to upgrade their behaviour management skills (using noise fear therapy as an example) should attend.
What is the Purpose of This Pet Fix Seminar?
The purpose of this seminar is to fully describe a Seven Point Plan you can implement to cure almost ANY behaviour problem in your clinic but with specific reference to noise fears as a working example.
Further, as this is a small-group setting, (limited to 30 vets) this seminar will also allow you to share experiences with other colleagues troubled by the complexities of noise fear therapy.
Expected Outcomes
At the completion of this seminar you will be able to:
-
Implement a Seven Point Plan to solve behavioural problems in your own practice (using noise fear therapy as a working example)
-
Explain why noises are not all the same and why, for instance, thunder fear is different from the fear shown to fireworks and nailing guns
-
Describe to your clients why noise fears cause escaping behaviour and how they can solve that by curing the underlying problem and avoiding 'band aid' quick fixes
-
Advise on how Pheromones should be used for noise fear therapy
-
Prescribe medications best suited to nature of the problem
-
Advise when sound effects can be used effectively and how that can be achieved
Work sheets will be provided for you to help you take notes and you will gain access to Pethealth.com.au via the MoodMender 2 CD ROM Vet-only edition (see below) so that you and your staff can study additional noise fear solutions after the seminar.
The seminar will be recorded and you will receive an audio CD from Dr Cam after the seminar so you will be able to listen to the advice after the event as often as you need to.
This will be an invaluable bonus because you can share the audio tracks with your staff so your whole team can get up-to-date. (Hint - listen to the CD in your car.)

As part of your seminar fee you will also get:
-
2 x Frightful Noises Audio CDs to sell (Retail value $99.00)
