Features of  Private Dog Classes at Cam Day Consulting

• This lesson is a private lesson for you and your dog or puppy and this means you get individual attention specific to the needs of your dog.

• Private training allows for the development of rapid training responses from your dog and is also useful for solving problem behaviours you may be experiencing with your dog.

• Expert advice from Cassie, (who is currently completing her Delta Society training) on how to train your dog using reward-based training methods which means you can forget the old fashioned yank-and-pull yell-and-scream training. Our methods are based on rewarding wanted behaviours and avoiding punishment.

• These private classes are centred around the needs of you and your dog and the training will be adapted to suit those needs.

• Two training locations are available. Our air-conditioned consulting rooms at Fairfield and its outdoors training arena and our licence to use other local parks giving the ultimate flexibility in training.

• Socialisation is achieved by allowing play-time with our resident dogs if needed and where appropriate.

• Vet behaviourist back-up from Dr Cam Day is available for any dog with aberrant behaviours which means problem behaviours can be quickly dealt with at all levels. (In other words - we have all bases covered!).

REQUIREMENTS

• All dogs must be fully vaccinated and have been fully wormed for intestinal worms before attending

• Dogs that are unwell will not be permitted to attend

• Please bring your dog on a lead and collar. (Leads and collars are available from our consulting rooms)

• You will need to wear closed shoes. Thongs are not permitted.

• You will need to be available for each of the 4 weeks at the allocated time

• Refunds:- as you will be allocated a space for the four weeks, refunds are not possible. However, if you are unable to attend a session, under certain circumstances, we may be able to rebook your sessions at another time.
